i'm mikołaj - i'm 18 years old and i live in a small town in poland. computers and technology in general have been a constant in my life for as long as i can remember. i'm a pretty laid-back and modest guy, and i try not to make a big deal out of myself. if you made it here - huge thanks for actually reading this.

i've always been drawn to technology, and over the years that passion has turned into a bit of an obsession with computers - thinkpads especially. i currently own a t60, r60e, x61, x61s, t420, t440p, and my most recent pickup - an x1 carbon gen 6. im in love with them - they are reliable, compatible with anything and have great build quality. they come in many different flavors - small, big, powerful, battery-efficient - anything really.

on the software side of things - i'm a strong believer in not locking yourself into a single ecosystem. i like having some variety in what I use, it's what makes it fun really. I own an iphone and a macbook, but I use linux aswell, and I wouldn't mind switching to an android phone - actually I think of switching to a google pixel 9 pro if i can find one at good price. speaking of which - i'm not a fan of microsoft,. i really hate the direction windows has been heading lately. although i have to use windows sometimes i prefer not to, and even when i have to do so i prefer to use old rusty but trusty windows 10 than 11.

im passionate about many different things - i'm into photography, video editing, and programming. i'm also into perfumes, and fashion - which might be an unexpected one. i'm mostly into streetwear, casual, old money & gorpcore - that kind of mix. whatever feels right that day honestly.

cars are something i've just recently really gotten into. i cuurently drive a mk4 golf - navy blue, 1.6 petrol, manual - got my license not too long ago and i'm really enjoying learning how to drive properly. as for dream cars: an audi r8, a dodge challenger srt hellcat, and a bmw e38 in perfect condition. my next purchase though (propably) is an audi tt coupe, second generation - something around 2014 - or maybe just a newer golf, depends on how much money i'll have.

i'm not really into gaming, it's just not my thing, although i do play some games sometimes. i usually play something like minecraft or stardew valley, but one exception lately has been forza horizon 3, which i've put some big hours into. music-wise i mostly listen to underground hip-hop/rap, but honestly anything can catch my ear depending on the mood. if you're curious what i'm into, you can check what i'm listening to here.
